I think some of the old ideas about retirement have been proven wrong. I remember you only need 75% of money to live same lifestyle and that proved wrong. I think the 4% rule is wrong also if you live longer or medical care cost more the 4% withdrawls will drain your money. People should try to make 3% more money then they withdraw so it does not run out in my mind.
